Above is both our rough cut and the feedback we received from a focus group on our music video 'Did You Miss Me' by Olly Murs, which was edited on Sony Vegas Pro. Straight off the bat the qualitative feedback we received from the group were that we need to change the font from black to white so it stands out more and is bold matching conventions, to speed up parts of the bit where we dance round the female character as it gets quite long and boring if it weren't to be. And also they said they cannot really see Josh O turn around at the end of the video, so for that we think we may create a jump cut towards his face so we see his reaction. So overall the focus group was helpful in gaining better knowledge into what our target audience wants from our video and will most definitely help us with creating a better, successful music video.
