Initial Magazine Advert - 1/1/16

From the questionnaires we handed out for feedback on our first proper draft of our magazine advert, we received qualitative data from 9 males and 9 females on how our target audience feel and initially react to what it looks like. We asked simple questions stating what they like about it and what they would improve about it. Collectively the most improvements we received were about the colour, and to improve the colour scheme and make it more exciting. So for this me and my group will go back to discussing what we can do to build on this feedback from our audience in order to turn it into something the people want. Then we also received good feedback about the image of the 4 members matching genre conventions, it being relevant to the genre, and the overall aesthetic of the piece looking professional and looking a proper, promotional magazine advert.

Last & Final Magazine Advert - 4/1/16

For our final magazine advert below we created on AffinityPhoto similar to the digipak we didn't make too many changes due to it being quite popular to our target audience which matches Neales theory of repetition and difference, that you do need repetition within media texts to comply with typical genre conventions. Although with the comment about the colour scheme, we added a lip/kiss mark to the top right to act as our signature mark. Therefore also matching our digipak back cover, keeping with our iconography and the synergy throughout each media text.
